Ohara Museum of Art completes facility renovations and reopens on April 25

The Ohara Art Foundation has announced that the Ohara Museum of Art will reopen on April 25 after completing air conditioning and electrical system renovations. Upon reopening, the museum will host the "OHARA Collection Highlight" exhibition, alongside a special exhibition titled "The Ohara Family of Kurashiki and Chinese Painting" and a thematic exhibition "Kojima Torajiro and China." The special exhibition explores the collection of Chinese paintings gathered by successive generations of the Ohara family, featuring numerous works including National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties, as well as the post-restoration debut of "Five Oxen." The exhibitions will run until June 7.
