Contemporary artist Yasuhiro Fujiwara, 57, will hold a solo exhibition titled "Walking the Ridges of Memory" at the Iga City Museum Aoyama Sanshosha from April 10 to May 10. Based in Iga, Fujiwara, who studied at Tama Art University and in the UK, is returning to the local art scene with his first solo exhibition in the area in over a decade. His work, often in shades of Prussian blue, is heavily influenced by his experience with retinal detachment during the pandemic and explores the discrepancy between reality and perception. The exhibition also features gallery talks and tea ceremonies.
