The "null²" pavilion, based on the fusion of Buddhist philosophy's "emptiness" and computer science's "null," was an experiential installation combining special mirror membranes, LEDs, and robotics to embody a "computational nature" where digital and physical realms merge through mirrors. It attracted approximately 600,000 visitors during the Expo, and a post-closing crowdfunding campaign exceeded 200 million yen in support. This concept of "computational nature" will be expanded into a permanent urban base, the theater "null²ⁿ," in 2026, and a new iteration, "null⁴," at the "GREEN×EXPO" international horticultural exhibition in 2027.
