This exhibition, with a history of over 350 years, is one of the most established juried exhibitions in the European art world, having launched the careers of masters like Monet, Renoir, and Cézanne. Yamanaka achieved her first selection at the same age as Renoir when he first entered the Salon. While she did not win an award, she received high praise from the renowned French art magazine “L’Œil,” which has exclusively featured masters like Picasso and Chagall.
