Akane Hosaka (28), a ceramic artist and member of the Kanuma City Regional Revitalization Cooperation Corps, is concluding her three-year term. Throughout her tenure, she focused on spreading art education and revitalizing the community through artistic creation and event planning. She will hold an activity report exhibition titled "Breathing Here - Encounters Over Three Years and Forms Remaining in the Town" from October 26th to 29th at the City Cultural Activities Exchange Hall Gallery. Hosaka, who specialized in ceramics and art education at Tokyo University of the Arts, contributed to events like "meet with KANUMA" and the "Awa no Yume Saku Art Festival." The exhibition will feature panels documenting her activities, portraits of people she worked with, her personal art series "MINI POP," and ceramic musical instruments ("Tokin") created with citizens. A workshop for making paint from local soil will also be held.
