Works by Art University Students from Sakushu Region Unveiled - "Hatsu-ten" Exhibition Begins at Shōō Art and Literature Museum

The group exhibition "Hatsu-ten," featuring works by art university students from the Sakushu region, opened on March 18th at the Shōō Art and Literature Museum in Shōō Town, Okayama Prefecture. A total of 21 students, including university students and junior/high school students learning at "Yanagi-dori Art Classroom" led by painter Mizushima Saki, are exhibiting approximately 40 works. The exhibition features paintings and sculptures brimming with youthful sensibility, including digital illustrations recording gourmet food from travels and a brand design for “365 Milk” with actual logo-printed packs and bottles. Terazaka Mafu (3rd year at Seian Art University) said, “It’s stimulating to be able to exhibit with students I learned with in the same place,” and Ōnomiki Haruka (2nd year at Tohoku University of Art and Design) said, “I want people to see art in various forms.” Admission is free, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (admission until 5:30 PM, and until 5:00 PM on the final day).
