The “VOCA Exhibition 2026: Prospects of Contemporary Art – New Painters,” known as a launching pad for emerging artists, is being held at the Ueno no Mori Museum from March 14th to March 29th for 16 days. This year marks the 33rd edition of the exhibition, featuring works by 24 artists selected from recommendations across Japan. Saya Toda was awarded the “VOCA Award,” while So Souen and Taketa Kento received the “VOCA Encouragement Award,” and Kato Chiharu and Kurashiki Anya received the “VOCA Excellence Award.” The winning and selected works will be exhibited throughout the exhibition period.
