The exhibition ACT (Artists Contemporary TOKAS) Vol. 8, titled "About the Ground" (地について), will be held at Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo. This recurring exhibition series introduces artists who are currently active and have participated in TOKAS programs. Vol. 8 focuses on the theme of "the connection between people and the ground," showcasing works by Shisuke Akabane, Akane Kukita, and Sanae Yamada, who explore their relationship with soil, plants, and natural phenomena from different perspectives. On the opening day, February 28th, there will be a sound performance by Shisuke Akabane and an artist talk featuring all participating artists. The exhibition runs from February 28 to March 22, 2026, and admission is free.
