Showcasing Learning Outcomes to the Community! Joetsu University of Education Art Course "Fine Arts" Graduation/Completion Research Exhibition
Summary
The graduation and completion research exhibition by students and graduate students of the Fine Arts course at Joetsu University of Education began on February 18th at Musee Yukikomachi in Honmachi 5-chome, Joetsu City. This 42nd exhibition features approximately 50 works, including sculptures, paintings, and ceramics, created by four students. University senior Mio Ohashi presented tea ceremony incense containers she made, noting that one piece representing chrysanthemums took about a month to complete. Other displayed works include pieces combining handwritten illustrations with CG and signboards highlighting the appeal of long-established local shops. Visitors appreciated the unique characteristics of the young artists' works. The exhibition is free to enter and runs until February 24th (Tuesday) at Musee Yukikomachi on the 5th floor of Astopia.
