[Tokyo] Public Art Exhibition "Mysterious Forest"
Summary
The public art exhibition "Mysterious Forest," featuring art made from waste materials, will be held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. This exhibition is designed to question the human and planetary activities 50 and 100 years from now, originating from Yaesu's history as the center of Edo culture. In an area historically known for its resourcefulness, such as the Edo period's culture of "living without creating waste" and the development of Ukiyo-e, this exhibition uses art created from discarded materials to openly explore future forms of "circulation" and "living." Participating artists include Yusuke Aonuma, Sayaho Ozono, and Yoko Ichikawa, with Yuto Shioda serving as the general producer. The exhibition runs from February 21 to March 5, 2026.
