The touring screening project "VISIONS CIRCUIT 2025‒26" will be held across three locations in Japan: Sendai Mediatheque (Miyagi), Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM] (Yamaguchi), and Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum (Nagasaki) from February to March 2026. This project connects cities and people through art films and experimental videos, featuring 18 works by a total of 18 artists, including trainees, fellows, and invited artists from Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media. Produced by Hideshi Katsura and Shintaro Wada of RAM Association, the event goes beyond screenings to include talks and related programs with artistic directors and curators from cutting-edge art centers and museums. It is an experimental project aimed at sharing the current state of video expression through "viewing" and "dialogue" and updating thought within the distinct contexts of each city. Admission is free, though advance reservation is prioritized.
