【Miyazaki】ART BOX vol.8
Summary
The exhibition "ART BOX vol.8" is currently being held at the Miyazaki Art Center. The purpose of this exhibition is to support creation and exchange by focusing on artists who continue to produce and present work, and individuals/groups actively incorporating art into their lives, showcasing them through individual exhibitions. This year's event features five simultaneous exhibitions by artists residing in or originating from Miyazaki Prefecture: Tatsunori Yamamoto (sculpture, video, installation), Junya Wakasugi (the world of his unique cat "Daigoro"), Mako Iida (works utilizing natural materials), ENO (exploring new frontiers between daily life and art using clothing), and Zero to neo (delicate line drawings). Additionally, workshops led by the exhibiting artists are being held to provide an accessible way for citizens to engage with art. The exhibition runs from January 31 to February 15, 2026, at the Miyazaki Art Center 5th floor, with free admission.
