Collection 3
Summary
Collection 3 is presented alongside a two-part exhibit running throughout the year: "The Reflecting City" and "Collection Highlights." "The Reflecting City" examines how art reflects the times through approximately 110 pieces dating from the 1950s to the 2000s, focusing on the theme of the city, urban life, and the street, where artists use the city as a mirror for contemporary desires and anxieties. "Collection Highlights" presents notable works and new acquisitions from the museum's holdings, spanning from late 19th/early 20th-century artists like Paul Cézanne and Max Ernst to contemporary figures such as Joseph Beuys and Takashi Murakami. The exhibition is organized by The National Museum of Art, Osaka, and runs from March 14 to June 14, 2026.
