The "Araki Pottery Exhibition ~ Seeking Exciting Satsuma Ware" will be held at the Airport Gallery Kagoshima at Kagoshima Airport from Friday, February 6th, to Thursday, February 19th (closing at noon on the final day). The exhibition features the works of Hideki Araki, a highly decorated traditional craftsman and the 15th successor of the Naeshirakawa-yaki Haku family. Araki is dedicated to preserving the traditional techniques of Satsuma ware while also creating pieces suitable for modern lifestyles. To help visitors experience the warmth of Satsuma ware in their daily lives, the exhibition will also include displays arranged in a table coordination format.
