A collaboration between contemporary artist Gerhard Richter and minimalist composer Steve Reich, titled 'Moving Picture (946-3) Reich/Richter', will have its Japanese premiere at Katsurashiki Hall in Tokyo on November 6 and 7. The work combines a film by Richter and Corinna Belz, based on one of Richter's paintings, with music by Reich. The premiere is part of the new cross-disciplinary art project 'No Centre'. The performance will be given by the ensemble Nomad and will also include works by Korean composer Yi-Hanul and Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu.
